On Squalor

The housekeeper is cleaning my pantry. I haven't cleaned that thing in years. I don't know why really - I guess I never thought to do it. I'm about to cry from joy.

I have a standing job offer for Jack. Jack + thong + mop = $20.00 an hour.

But Jack wouldn't want to come near this job. It's like a meth house without the fancy electronics.

I am tempted to post pictures of the immaculateness, but I don't want anyone looking at what they consider to be average cleanliness and wondering just what in hell it looked like before. My honesty is refreshing, isn't it?

I am just sorry I didn't do this before it got this bad. But once it's all done and we are used to living in order instead of squalor, I think I will make more of an effort. But I'm still keeping the housekeeper.

Housekeepers are a wonderful thing. If I swung that way, I'd date mine.

I adore housekeepers. Brings back memories, though. I don't have a housekeeper these days.

I don't need one. My cats clean up after themselves. (I'm such a liar.)

Housekeeper HAHAHA! I have a housecleaner. The poor lady only comes every other week and by that time no matter how hard I promise to work the house needs to be cleaned again not just kept up. I hate to think about how we would live without her interventions twice a month.

If only she would wear the French Maid outfit I would be willing to have her come over every week. I keep asking and she keeps reminding me about my wife, bah, like the two items are related.

Ah...a housekeeper. Now THAT is quite the idea...like Zelda, my wife is not the best housekeeper in the world, but fortunately, that wasn't why I married her. She's perfect in every other way. Reading all this has got me thinking now...

Hmm...housekeeper. Not a bad idea at all.

I'm in a 4 bedroom house so I figured I'd take in a roommate to do housekeeping for room 'n board. She Ebays for spending money and cleans up after the messes I and the cats make, even does some of the yardwork (except mowing, which she hates). As a bonus, she's a night owl so she doubles as a security system. My life would be much more of a pain in the ass, were I living alone.

Hello-

I don't know how I got here....I think it was through Brighton's blog but anyway.....

We moved into a bigger new house in jan, the best thing in it is the basement bar I put in. Not only it has been a dream come true for an exbartender like me, it is also the trigger for housecleaning.

I, who ahve gone through two previous wives because one of their complaints was I did not help with the houswork, I wa svacuming, yes vacuming. The reason why? The basement bar now attracts all the neighbors on the weekend. Now, I acre about the hosue because being an exbartender I cared about how a bar look. LOL my Wife To Be says, Hell, I'll decorate the whole house in neon beer signs if that woiuld help you.

Women, they just don't undertsand the Zen of a situtaion. Smile.

One more add-

Told my Wife To Be about your blog. As she will bemarrying a Vietnamese/Scotsman in two weeks, thought she could use an insight on how that will affect her sanity.
