Shouldn't we get a prize for being married 6 years on March 6th?
Jethro and I were looking through our wedding album and Gwennie came and sat with us. She asked, "Where am I?"
Without thinking, I said, "You were in my tummy."
Jethro just looked at me as if to say, "Were we going to share this information with her right now?"
*Gulp* I guess so.
I don't believe in secrets anyway, and the information didn't phase her a bit.
I think we'll make a lazy day of it. Probably go get dim sum.
I'll post more tomorrow. I'm hungry.

my sister's son was sat on my lap at his mum's wedding... has never bothered him, times have changed. Although they hadn't changed that much when I live din Houston... but certainly over here it's not an issue,
Congratulations, only 44 more years to the Golden.

Noonie - Are you kidding? In Texas no one gets married unless they're knocked up. Really, the most you get is a snicker and a rabid ex-girlfriend trying to sabotage your wedding.
Tinyhands - Ocean Palace sounds great. There's is the best. But we're going to Kim Son because it's closer.

She just didn't compute the statement, methinks ;) I know of a couple from Houston (you don't say) that had a son... and didn't get married until everyone stopped pressuring them to get married LoL

Well when we lived there, we would mention we'd been living together for four years before we got married and people would almost fall over in shock. Used to amuse us no end.

Lisa - There's something to be said for getting married on your own terms.
Noonie - That's really funny. How long ago was it? Jeth and I lived together for 10 mos before we got married, but we'd known each other for over 5 years. But now that I think about it, people don't just come out and say they lived together or are living together. I think it stems from not wanting people to mind your business. At least that's how it was for me.

it was 1992/3 and we didn't come right out with it, they would ask how long we'd been married and it was less than a year, they;'d go all gooey and oooh newly weds. We'd say well not really we've been together for six years and living together for four.
Thent hey'd sort of go into stony silence or start fainiting

I kinda figured you'd go there instead. You had me thinking about dim sum though and Tonia had never had it so we went to O.P. and walked the mall afterwards. Love that place.
